Our mission at Back Street Cat Rescue Inc. is to place  homeless cats and kittens in forever homes.

We do all we can to ensure a happily-ever-ending for each and every cat we rescue. Through rescue, aid, and abundant doses of love, we strive to find loving forever homes for homeless cats in the Ohio Valley.

(=^.^=) We have recently been notified that Back Street Cat Rescue is listed as "A Voice for Life"  at the No Kill Nation Network (=^.^=)

This Back Street Cat Rescue website was created to give everyone an opportunity to see the BSCR cats and kittens that are available for adoption. Here you will have a chance to learn a little something about each one of them. We hope you will fall in love with them as we have, and we hope to spark enough interest that you will request an application to adopt and then schedule a home visit. If, however, you are unable to adopt at this time but would like to foster or sponsor one or more of our beautiful, well-cared for cats, please contact us for information.

BACK Street Cat Rescue is part of the AmazonSmile program and the Kroger Community Rewards program. Our AmazonSmile Kitty Wish List, lists useful items which can be donated and shipped directly to our cats.  

BSCR is also listed at Kroger Community Rewards. If you select us as your Kroger nonprofit, Kroger will donate a percentage of your spending. It costs you nothing!

It does not affect your fuel points or anything else and our cats benefit everytime you go Kroger-ing.
